Powers Construction subs finish and trim carpentry, kitchen and bath build out, tile, and punch and closeout for general contractors and custom home builders around Brandon and Tampa Bay.
You hold the contract with your client and you run the job. We show up when you say, work to your schedule and your standards, and we do not talk to your customer about anything except the work in front of us.
What we sub
- Finish and trim carpentry. Base, casing, crown, doors, hardware, built ins, stair parts.
- Kitchen and bath build out. Cabinet set, tops, fixtures set, the finish work that turns a rough in into a finished room.
- Tile. Floors, walls, showers, backsplash.
- Punch and closeout. The list nobody wants at the end of a job, worked until it is actually closed rather than until it is mostly closed.
Why a builder calls us back
Ricky has been in the trade for over thirty years. He is on the jobs, not behind a desk, and he is the one you will be talking to.
A small in house crew, not a rotating list of day labor. The same people come back tomorrow. You are not re training a crew every week.
We keep your schedule. If we say Tuesday, we are there Tuesday. If something moves on our end you will hear it from us early, not on the day, and not from your client.
We do not take your customer. Your client is your client. We do not hand out cards on your job, we do not follow up afterward, and we are not on the site to build our own list.

Where we work
We work out of Brandon and cover the surrounding area, nearest first: Brandon, Riverview, Valrico, Lithia, FishHawk, Bloomingdale, Seffner, Dover, Gibsonton, Temple Terrace, Thonotosassa, Mango, Tampa, Plant City and Apollo Beach. Further out is worth a conversation if the work is steady.
